What happened: Ariel Helwani thanked fans after a sold-out live taping of his show at City Winery in New York on Friday night. The episode featured Dustin Poirier, Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson, Joe Pyfer and Kyle Daukaus as guests, with the team streaming the show on X. Helwani also flagged sponsor FREPouch and noted the Knicks won on the same night.

Why it matters: The taping is the latest in Helwani's recurring City Winery live shows, which have become a fixture for MMA media in the lead-up to UFC fight weeks. Friday's lineup landed on the eve of UFC 328, where Khamzat Chimaev faces Sean Strickland, giving the panel a natural hook into one of the year's most anticipated cards. Pyfer's reflections on his win over Israel Adesanya, teased in the parent thread, gave the show added news value beyond promotion.

What to watch: Watch for clips and full episode segments to roll out across Helwani's feed in the coming days, particularly Pyfer's Adesanya commentary. UFC 328 headlines the weekend with Chimaev vs. Strickland on May 9.
