This is the best, most aggressive version of Holly Holm we’ve seen in a long time. One more round. Great fight. No ide

What happened: Ariel Helwani reported that Holly Holm looked like her most aggressive version in a long time as her ESPN fight moved toward the final round. He said the bout was loud, close and difficult to score in the moment, while indicating he thought Holm may have been ahead.

Why it matters: The live read matters because Holm was in a high-profile MVPW-03 rematch with Stephanie Han for the WBA lightweight title. A competitive late-fight swing would reshape the immediate postfight discussion around Holm's boxing return and Han's title run.

By the numbers: MVPW-03 was staged at El Paso County Coliseum on May 30, 2026, with Stephanie Han vs. Holly Holm II headlining the ESPN card. Their first meeting on Jan. 3, 2026, ended with Han retaining the WBA lightweight title by seventh-round technical decision after an accidental clash of heads.

What to watch: Watch for the official scorecards and whether either camp pushes for another meeting after a close finish.
