What happened: Tomas Hertl and Nic Dowd stopped on the Gold Carpet outside T-Mobile Arena to meet Vegas supporters ahead of Opening Knight. The appearance was part of the club's opening-night home date.

Why it matters: Vegas started the home slate with a 5-2 win over Chicago on Sept. 30. William Karlsson signed a two-year extension afterward, locking in core continuity for 2026-27.

What to watch: Vegas turns to the rest of its opening-week slate after the 5-2 start.
