What happened: Ariel Hukporti spotted up in the corner and missed everything from 3. The center signed a one-year, $3.4M deal in July.

Why it matters: The attempt stands out because Hukporti earns his minutes running the floor and playing inside. Preseason offers a low-stakes window to test that range before the 2026-27 season.

What to watch: Watch whether Hukporti sticks to the paint or lets another one fly from outside.
