What happened: Hunter Goodman became the first player to ever record a pair of three home run outings in the same season for the franchise. He is now just the fourth player to hit three long balls in a single contest multiple times in a Rockies uniform.

Why it matters: His sustained offensive excellence provides immense value for a club currently sitting at 35 wins on the year. The continued power surge also keeps him squarely in the spotlight as the summer trade deadline approaches.
