What happened: The New England Patriots agreed to terms with Hunter Henry on an extension that could keep him with the franchise through the end of his career. The agreement represents his third contract with New England.

Why it matters: Henry produced 60 receptions, 768 yards and seven touchdowns during the 2025 season. Preserving his established connection with Drake Maye gives the Patriots reliable production while their quarterback enters another crucial year of development.
