What happened: A New England Patriots receiver named Seattle Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon when asked which corner talks the most trash. He cited past meetings against Witherspoon. He added he respects the chatter as a sign of passion for the game.

Why it matters: Cornerback chatter often shapes receiver matchups before the snap. Witherspoon's edge sits at the center of Seattle's secondary identity.

What to watch: Seattle continues preparation for its scheduled home game.
