What happened: Jordan Davis opened the Eagles’ first training camp practice by asking reporters about James’ arrival. Jalen Hurts called the move significant for Philadelphia, while Saquon Barkley said it would strengthen the city’s sports culture.

Why it matters: James’ move to Philadelphia has crossed into Eagles camp, underscoring the citywide reach of the 76ers’ overhaul. DeVonta Smith, a Boston Celtics fan, said the Jaylen Brown trade showed Philadelphia is trying to win a championship.

What to watch: The Eagles’ camp will show whether Roseman adds to the roster again before the season. The 76ers now turn toward integrating James and Brown for 2026-27.
