What happened: Lane Hutson put Montreal on the board first in the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic against Winnipeg at Princess Auto Stadium. The goal came off a sequence of quick Canadiens puck movement.

Why it matters: It is Hutson's third goal in four October games, after he scored in back-to-back games earlier this month.
