What happened: Isaiah Likely opened his 2026 scoring account on Sept. 14 after completing the nine-day run-up to the regular-season opener earlier that month. Entering Week 7, he ranks first among NFL tight ends in both receiving yardage and touchdown receptions.

Why it matters: Selected 139th overall in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Coastal Carolina, Likely has established a primary role in the passing attack during the first six weeks of 2026. Per ESPN, he recorded 27 receptions for 307 yards and one touchdown across 14 games in the 2025 season before ascending to the top of the position leaderboard this fall.

What to watch: Week 7 regular-season action is next on the docket as Likely looks to hold his statistical edge at the tight end position.
