What happened: Washington released McKay on Aug. 8 during a broader offensive-line shuffle. Bohanna had joined Jacksonville on June 1.

Why it matters: Jacksonville swaps defensive-line depth for another blocker during the preseason. The transaction gives McKay another opportunity to earn a roster spot before final cuts.

By the numbers: Bohanna has appeared in 40 NFL games with 13 starts, totaling 44 tackles, three tackles for loss and one quarterback hit.

What to watch: McKay's preseason work will shape his bid to survive the next roster cut, while Bohanna returns to the market.
