What an at-bat from Jake Bauers! The bullpen is going for the Dodgers and Bauers works a 12-pitch walk https://t.co/GFfN Via @MLBONFOX on X

What happened: Los Angeles turned to its bullpen during Jake Bauers' trip to the plate. The game stood at Los Angeles Dodgers 2, Milwaukee Brewers 3 and in progress.

Why it matters: Postseason relief innings magnify extended plate appearances. A taxed bullpen early leaves fewer fresh options late.

By the numbers: Los Angeles Dodgers 2, Milwaukee Brewers 3, in progress. Series: Milwaukee Brewers lead 1-0.

What to watch: Milwaukee gets to build on the added baserunner with play continuing.
