What happened: Jake Bauers stepped in with the bases loaded and two outs in the fifth inning. He worked a walk to force in the tying run and keep the bases loaded.

Why it matters: A tie in the middle innings of a postseason game resets late-inning leverage. It leaves the next hitter up with runners on and more pressure on the opposing bullpen.

What to watch: Next is the follow-up at-bat with the bases still loaded and bullpen usage from the sixth onward.
