What happened: Jalen Suggs connected with Nikola Vucevic on a wraparound pass during Friday night's preseason contest. The play paired Suggs' ball-handling on the move with Vucevic finishing inside during the fourth exhibition outing of the 2026-27 preseason.

Why it matters: Developing two-man timing between Suggs and Vucevic adds an interior passing wrinkle ahead of the 2026-27 regular season. Exhibition reps give the guard-center duo live possessions to sharpen halfcourt spacing and decision-making.

What to watch: Preseason preparation continues before final roster adjustments and the start of the 2026-27 regular season.
