What happened: Cleveland Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said his club will be ready for an 8:08 p.m. ET first pitch Saturday after inclement weather pushed back ALCS Game 4. The postponement eliminates Sunday's scheduled off day, meaning Cleveland now faces up to four consecutive days of postseason play after MLB controlled the timing of Friday's weather decision.

Why it matters: Erasing the rest day removes a critical recovery cushion for the pitching staff in the middle of a seven-game series. Playing up to four games in four days places immediate pressure on bullpen depth and high-leverage reliever availability through the weekend.

What to watch: ALCS Game 4 is set for Saturday at 8:08 p.m. ET at Progressive Field, with Game 5 scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 18.
