What happened: PFF ranked cornerbacks by passer rating allowed this season. The top five all sit through the early October slate.

Why it matters: James Pierre made 30 tackles with one interception in 14 games in 2025. Josh Wallace added 20 tackles with one interception in 15 games in 2025 in his third season out of Michigan. Kristian Fulton entered as the 61st overall pick out of LSU in 2020 and made 16 tackles in eight games in 2025.

By the numbers: Pierre 2.1; Fulton 16.7; McDuffie 21.1; Wallace 27.6; Muhammad 41.9.

What to watch: Next is whether the marks hold as target volume grows past early October.
