What happened: James Pierre gave Minnesota another defensive takeaway with the Vikings leading Green Bay 39-22. The game remained in progress as of 23:39:57 UTC on Sept. 13.

Why it matters: The turnover gives Minnesota more control of field position while Green Bay is chasing points. With the score still live, the next possession matters more than any final-score framing.

By the numbers: Minnesota Vikings 39, Green Bay Packers 22. Trey Smack: 10 PTS. Will Reichard: 7 PTS.

What to watch: Watch whether Green Bay answers on its next series or Minnesota turns the takeaway into more points.
