What happened: The fourth-down throw ended the possession without a conversion attempt in bounds. It came one week after the overtime tie Daniels took responsibility for.

Why it matters: Fourth-down decisions determine possession and remaining chances. Repeated late-game execution issues decide close finishes.

What to watch: The next close finish will show whether the late-down execution repeats.
