What happened: Following a 36-point outing against New York, Tatum said he was happiest seeing Queta step into his shot with confidence and convert. Earlier in the matchup, an open run by Queta forced a timeout with the score at 45-41.

Why it matters: Confident shooting from Queta gives the half-court offense an interior-out release valve when opposing defenses load up on Tatum in crunch time.

What to watch: Queta's floor-spacing opportunities and rotation minutes bear watching as the 2026-27 regular season progresses.
