What happened: UFC featherweight contender Jean Silva argued that Jose Aldo remains the division's greatest fighter ever, pointing to his 10-year undefeated stretch as the defining benchmark. Silva added that former champion Alexander Volkanovski would concede the distinction to Aldo despite Volkanovski's own dominant title run.

Why it matters: The featherweight hierarchy remains an active historical debate between Aldo's decade-long reign and Volkanovski's five title defenses. Silva's comments come as the 145-pound division navigates a transitional era following Volkanovski's recent bouts.

What to watch: Volkanovski is weighing his next move following UFC 333, while Silva continues positioning himself for a featherweight title eliminator.
