What happened: New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn praised Braelon Allen's play over the last two games, saying Allen did an outstanding job. The stretch includes Allen's first 100-yard outing capped by a game-winning touchdown on Oct. 11.

Why it matters: Allen has held the RB1 role while Hall and Mitchell were listed week-to-week. That run plus Geno Smith trusting him on the decisive audible gives New York continuity in the ground game.

What to watch: What matters next is whether Allen keeps RB1 duties as Hall and Mitchell progress toward return.
