What happened: The New York Jets held a workout for wide receiver and return specialist Kaden Davis on Thursday. Davis most recently competed in the 2026 UFL season as a member of the Houston Gamblers after previously spending time with the Cleveland Browns.

Why it matters: New York is evaluating depth and special teams options during the 2026 offseason program under new head coach Aaron Glenn. Davis provides experience as a returner, a role where the Jets are looking for additional competition behind veteran Garrett Wilson and recent additions.

What to watch: The team will determine if Davis's performance warrants a roster spot as they transition toward training camp next month.
