What happened: Jewell Loyd continues to anchor the Las Vegas Aces' backcourt, recently highlighted for her sharpshooting as the team prepares for a pivotal Commissioner’s Cup matchup. The Aces enter Monday night on a six-game winning streak, having averaged over 100 points in their last three outings.

Why it matters: Since re-signing with Las Vegas in April, Jewell Loyd has solidified her role as a premier scoring threat alongside A'ja Wilson. A victory against the Dallas Wings tonight would allow the Aces to clinch the Western Conference spot in the Commissioner's Cup Championship Game against the New York Liberty.

By the numbers: The Aces (10-3) currently sit second in the WNBA standings and maintain a perfect 5-0 record in Commissioner’s Cup play. Wilson leads the team with 26.2 PPG, while the Aces' offense has surged to a league-high scoring average during their June unbeaten streak.

What to watch: Las Vegas faces the Dallas Wings tonight at 8:00 PM ET at College Park Center, with a championship game berth on the line.
