What happened: USA TODAY Sports evaluated potential quarterback fits for the Baltimore Ravens, highlighting Joe Flacco and Jacoby Brissett as possible additions. Baltimore must address depth under center after starting quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a thumb injury that requires surgery. Jackson is expected to land on injured reserve, leaving the team in search of experienced options.

Why it matters: Flacco previously began his NFL career in Baltimore, while Brissett provides seasoned starting experience. Finding an established passer is critical to stabilizing the offense during an extended absence for the starter. The vacancy tests Baltimore's roster depth as the team aims to stay in postseason contention.

What to watch: Baltimore will evaluate roster moves and trade opportunities ahead of its next matchup. Team leadership will clarify the depth chart once medical procedures are finalized.
