What happened: Analyst Marcus Spears delivered a blunt assessment of Baltimore's outlook, stating that 'it feels like all is lost' as the franchise confronts an extended absence for quarterback Lamar Jackson. The comments follow news that Jackson faces surgery for a right thumb injury.

Why it matters: Losing Jackson leaves Baltimore without its central playmaker at a pivotal junction of the season. The offensive setback compounds recent struggles after a 36-10 defeat.

What to watch: Baltimore must settle its quarterback situation and adjust the roster as Jackson prepares for surgery and recovery.
