What happened: John Konchar has signed with Greek club Olympiacos for the 2026-27 season, per @TheSteinLine and GSL Sports Group. The guard originally agreed to a one-year contract with New York on Sept. 16 before the Knicks and Konchar parted ways amid a personal absence two weeks later.

Why it matters: The agreement takes Konchar off the NBA free-agent market and shifts him into EuroLeague competition. Waiving him during camp cleared a roster spot for New York ahead of the regular season while freeing Konchar to take a guaranteed role overseas.

What to watch: Konchar joins Olympiacos as the club continues its 2026-27 EuroLeague and Greek league schedule.
