What happened: Jon Elmore converted his first points in Oct. 13 preseason action ahead of the 2026-27 season. He is in camp as a 30-year-old rookie.

Why it matters: First-year contributors at 30 are uncommon on preseason rosters built around early-20s prospects. Early scoring is the currency for additional camp minutes.

What to watch: Further preseason appearances will clarify his role as camps narrow toward opening night.
