What happened: Infielder Jonathan Aranda, who reached 20 home runs for the first time in September, snared a line drive to record an inning-ending out during Sunday's ALCS Game 5. He also delivered an RBI single in the contest for his third run driven in of the series.

Why it matters: The two-way contribution extends a mid-series rebound after Aranda broke out of his opening slump to help produce a 4-1 victory in Game 4.

What to watch: ALCS Game 5 continues Sunday as the series shifts toward deciding the American League pennant.
