What happened: Defensive end Joseph Ossai, who previously missed action in September, is ruled out for Week 7 after sitting out Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury. Linebacker Kiko Mauigoa will also miss the game after sitting Wednesday with a week-to-week thigh issue, and offensive tackle Max Mitchell is out after missing Thursday's session with a concussion.

Why it matters: The three designations simultaneously thin the pass rush, second-level run defense and offensive tackle depth as the team looks to rebound from a 26-19 road defeat on Oct. 18. Holding a 2-4 record and sitting 11th in the conference standings on a one-game losing streak, the lineup faces immediate rotation adjustments on both sides of the ball.

By the numbers: New York enters Week 7 at 2-4 (11th seed, L1 streak) after a 26-19 loss on Oct. 18, with 3 players across the defensive front seven and offensive line ruled out.

What to watch: Mauigoa remains week-to-week with his thigh injury heading into Week 8 preparation, while Mitchell must progress through concussion protocol and Ossai's ankle recovery will be monitored at next week's practices.
