For the first time in almost two years, Tank Dell returns to the field 🙌 NYGvsHOU – Sunday 1:00pm ET on FOX/FOX One Str Via @NFL on X

What happened: Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is set to take the field Sunday against the New York Giants for his first game action since suffering a knee injury in 2024. Head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed Monday that Dell is on track to make his 2026 season debut in Week 7.

Why it matters: Dell was placed on injured reserve Oct. 7 and remained in Houston while the Texans traveled to London in Week 6. His return restores a key perimeter target as Houston looks to climb from 13th in the conference standings.

By the numbers: Drafted 69th overall in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Houston, Dell rejoins a 2-4 Texans squad riding a two-game winning streak after a 34-31 road victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Oct. 18.

What to watch: Houston hosts New York on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX, with the Texans set to formally activate Dell from the injured reserve-designated to return list ahead of kickoff.
