What happened: The Skybox session focused on Contreras approach and season-long hitting philosophies. Instruction centered on creating a flat bat path and using the front arm to control the swing. It also included advice directed at young hitters.

Why it matters: Contreras anchors the middle of the order during a postseason run with Milwaukee up 2-0 in the NLCS. His second homer of the NLDS on Oct. 6 cut a deficit at Petco Park. That October production explains the attention on the mechanics behind his swing.

What to watch: Milwaukee carries a 2-0 NLCS lead forward. Contreras plate appearances will show whether the approach holds.
