What happened: Junior Caminero told MLB Network's Greg Amsinger how his mentality and approach at the plate have changed as he's reached a new level this season. The exchange came after Amsinger told Caminero he was "shocked anyone pitches" to him.

Why it matters: The interview lands during All-Star week, when Caminero has already drawn attention for exiting the All-Star Game following a hit-by-pitch before X-rays on his hand returned negative. His plate-discipline gains this year help explain why pitchers are increasingly avoiding the strike zone against him.

What to watch: Watch for how Caminero's plate approach carries into the second half as Tampa Bay continues its season.
