What happened: The Atlanta Hawks partnered with Kenneth Nugent to fund the Score For Scholarships initiative across the regular season. Every point Atlanta scores generates a $3 contribution to the Hawks Foundation following the team's 128-81 final victory.

Why it matters: Tying charitable giving directly to team scoring links on-court offensive production with local community funding. High-scoring regular-season outings accelerate scholarship support through the Hawks Foundation.

What to watch: The scholarship total will continue climbing with each point the Atlanta Hawks score in upcoming regular-season action.
