What happened: Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr addressed his approach to managing rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg this season. Kerr noted that he would rather reign a player back in than attempt to get him going, praising the rookie's energy and aggressive mindset.

Why it matters: Lendeborg has quickly carved out a major role in Golden State's rotation after Kerr noted in October that the forward had earned an immediate rotation role. His high-usage style has helped the Warriors to a 5-3 start while testing how much offensive freedom Kerr affords first-year players.

What to watch: Golden State continues regular-season play as Kerr balances Lendeborg's aggressive shot creation with structural offensive discipline.
