What happened: Center Khalifa Diop begins the 2026-27 campaign on the active NBA roster after finalizing his contract in early September.

Why it matters: Securing the former second-round draft pick across four seasons gives the frontcourt a developmental center under long-term team control.

What to watch: Early regular-season rotation deployment will establish Diop's initial NBA minutes behind the starting frontcourt.
