What happened: Jacobs logged nine defensive snaps and seven on special teams before departing. Fifth-rounder Karon Prunty played 50 defensive snaps, while second-rounder Gabe Jacas handled 37.

Why it matters: Prunty's team-high defensive workload gave him an extended audition for the CB5 or CB6 job. Jacas added 14 special-teams snaps as he works toward a role in the upcoming season.

By the numbers: Prunty totaled 62 defensive and special-teams snaps, 11 more than Jacas. Jacobs played 16 across the two units.

What to watch: Jacobs' practice participation will be the next indicator of his availability. Prunty's cornerback competition remains unresolved ahead of roster cuts.
