Why it matters: Stokes became the only player in league history to complete two separate back-to-back championship runs. The victory also reunited her with former UConn teammate Gabby Williams as they secured Golden State's first franchise title.

By the numbers: 4 career championships (2022, 2023, 2025, 2026); first player in WNBA history to record two distinct back-to-back title runs.

What to watch: The Valkyries turn toward the offseason before beginning their title defense in the upcoming 2027 season.
