What happened: Stokes passed Tamika Catchings for 18th on the WNBA's career blocks list with her second rejection of the game. The move added another all-time milestone during the 2026 postseason.

Why it matters: Stokes has already been moving up the league's blocks leaderboard, and another jump keeps that climb active in games with playoff stakes. Each additional block now adds both immediate defensive value and more separation at her new spot on the career list.

What to watch: Her next postseason appearances will decide how much more ground she can make up on the career list before the season ends.
