What happened: The 2026-27 guarantee settled in June keeps the veteran guard on the books. He opened camp mentoring rookie Keaton Wagler and linked with him for a preseason three.

Why it matters: Continuity in the backcourt lets preseason rotations settle around a known role. His guidance work detailed to Ohm Youngmisuk defines that role around development as well as minutes.

What to watch: Preseason continues ahead of the Nov. 13 Cup court debut at Intuit Dome.
