What happened: Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts has officially signed his three-year contract, finalizing a deal the two sides had agreed to in recent days. The signing makes formal the commitment between Pitts and the franchise heading into the 2026 season. With pen to paper, the tight end position is now settled on Atlanta's offensive depth chart.

Why it matters: The signing secures one of the Falcons' core skill players as the team builds its offense for the upcoming campaign. It follows Atlanta's recent extension work with Drake London, signaling a clear intent to keep its young pass-catching group intact. Locking up Pitts removes a contract question from the offseason and lets the front office turn its attention to other roster priorities.

What to watch: Watch how Atlanta's offense leans on Pitts in the passing game next season and whether the Falcons turn next to extension talks with their remaining young core.
