Our @leaguescup run begins at @BMOStadium 🏟️ 🆚 Chivas on August 5 🆚 Toluca FC on August 8 🆚 Querétaro FC on August 12

What happened: LAFC will begin its Leagues Cup campaign at BMO Stadium, hosting a trio of Liga MX clubs in August. The group-stage slate sets Chivas on Aug. 5, Toluca FC on Aug. 8 and Querétaro FC on Aug. 12. Tickets are on sale now.

Why it matters: A three-match home stand to open the tournament gives LAFC an early edge in the MLS-versus-Liga MX competition, where group results shape seeding into the knockout rounds. Drawing established Liga MX sides to Los Angeles also underscores the cross-league draw the Leagues Cup is built to deliver.

By the numbers: Group-stage home schedule at BMO Stadium: Chivas (Aug. 5), Toluca FC (Aug. 8), Querétaro FC (Aug. 12). LAFC had already moved group-stage tickets for the three BMO Stadium dates on sale earlier in June.

What to watch: Watch for LAFC's group seeding to firm up once all three results are in, with knockout-round positioning on the line. Roster availability across the August window will be the key variable heading into the opener.
