What happened: LAFC's account said fans turned out for Sonny bobblehead night at Dodger Stadium, a cross-promotion between the two Los Angeles clubs. The giveaway comes as the Dodgers host the Arizona Diamondbacks, with LA listed as heavy favorites and the total set at 9.5.

Why it matters: The Dodger Stadium tie-in extends the same Sonny bobblehead giveaway LAFC previewed in June ahead of its own July 22 match, widening the promotion's reach across LA's sports fan base. It's the latest crossover moment for the two clubs sharing a market and, at times, a stadium footprint.

By the numbers: Dodgers enter 61-34 this season, outscoring opponents 5.3-3.6 per game; Arizona is 47-47 with a two-game win streak. Arizona took the most recent meeting 9-3 on July 10.

What to watch: First pitch between the Diamondbacks and Dodgers follows the bobblehead promotion at Dodger Stadium.
