What happened: The Los Angeles Lakers hold 16 standard player contracts following the addition of Matisse Thybulle. The organization has also committed to four two-way agreements, including a deal with Arthur Kaluma.

Why it matters: NBA regulations permit franchises to carry up to 21 individuals during the offseason. Teams are required to trim their active lists down to a maximum of 15 standard deals and three two-way slots prior to the first Monday of the regular season.

By the numbers: Kaluma secured his two-way position after averaging nearly 19 points during Las Vegas Summer League action.
