What happened: Los Angeles had made 18 3-pointers, one fewer than its Cameron Carr had 12 points and started to look more comfortable.

Why it matters: The perimeter volume offered an early read on Los Angeles' spacing with an extended rotation. The cushion created live minutes to evaluate young contributors ahead of the 2026-27 season.

What to watch: Watch whether Los Angeles sustains the outside shooting into the fourth. Watch whether Carr stacks another comfortable stretch.
