What happened: Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was not present at the start of Thursday's practice, per Mike Garafolo and Jamison Hensley. Jackson is managing a left ankle injury sustained on Oct. 4.

Why it matters: Seventh-year veteran Tyler Huntley is next in line at quarterback if Jackson is unable to play this week. Baltimore's coaching staff has noted that Jackson does not necessarily need practice reps to suit up on game day.

What to watch: Baltimore's Friday practice participation report and final injury designations will clarify Jackson's status for the weekend.
