What happened: Jackson jogged onto the field at the start of Wednesday's session, per ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jamison Hensley. The midweek participation follows an absence at the start of last Wednesday's practice as well as a missed Wednesday workout on Sept. 30.

Why it matters: Getting the starting quarterback on the field for the opening practice of the week stabilizes Baltimore's game-plan installation ahead of Sunday's matchup against Buffalo. The Ravens are looking to rebound after dropping consecutive games.

By the numbers: Baltimore holds a 4-3 record and the ninth seed in the standings on a two-game losing streak after falling 35-13 to the Cincinnati Bengals on Oct. 25.

What to watch: Baltimore's official Wednesday injury report will detail whether Jackson logged a limited or full session ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills.
