What happened: Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal told reporters that a Champions League parade in Barcelona will happen 'definitely' one day, according to a quote relayed by Fabrizio Romano. The teenager's confident remark adds to a string of bullish public statements from Yamal during Barcelona's current title push.

Why it matters: Barcelona have not won the Champions League since 2015 and have repeatedly fallen short in the knockout rounds in recent campaigns. Yamal's public confidence matters because he is being positioned as the face of the club's next era, and statements like this set expectations for a fan base that has watched La Liga dominance fail to translate into European silverware. It also lands amid teammate Gavi's recent call for patience on the Champions League front, framing a generational divide in how Barça's young core is talking about Europe.

What to watch: Watch whether Barcelona's coaching staff or club leadership echo or temper Yamal's confidence in upcoming pressers. The next Champions League campaign and Barcelona's seeding will be the first real test of whether the parade talk has any near-term basis.
