What happened: Jake LaRavia and Kevon Looney were asked about what people outside the building have said about the Los Angeles Lakers entering the season.

Why it matters: Outside perception sets the early context around Los Angeles before any result. The game has not started yet, so those views remain untested.

What to watch: Attention now turns to the scheduled tip and how Los Angeles responds on the court.
