What happened: Dylan Larkin has submitted an expanded 10-team trade destination list as Ryan Nugent-Hopkins works toward a lineup return, per The Hockey Writers. Brady Tkachuk also addressed the circumstances of his trade departure following his first game back in Ottawa on Thursday.

Why it matters: Adding the Devils, Hurricanes, and Lightning while leaving Montreal off widens the market for a center who previously held to his original trade destinations. Meanwhile, Tkachuk's exit has pushed Ottawa into an early leadership transition during the 2026-27 regular season.

What to watch: Front offices on Larkin's 10-team list can now engage in trade talks while Nugent-Hopkins nears clearance for regular-season action.
