What happened: The flag on Wallace came Sunday and McVay said the league has since told him it was incorrect. Breer pointed to replay assist as the mechanism that should have caught it.

Why it matters: Defensive pass interference extends drives and swings field position during the regular season. The admission renews questions about what replay assist is permitted to fix.

What to watch: Watch whether the league clarifies replay-assist boundaries this week. Watch Wallace's role in the Rams secondary going forward.
